Each new variety that comes to market benefits farmers and society as a whole. The seed gives a variety the productive and durability characteristics that make it profitable for the farmer and also incorporates the organoleptic characteristics that satisfy the consumer.
In order to launch new products that bring relevant improvements to society, seed companies dedicate approximately 20% of their budgets to R&D&I.
